ALJEZUR is a quiet and beautiful small town on Portugals
Algarve west coast, belonging to the "Costa Vicentina and Southwest Alentejo Natural Reserve".
From the Moorish castle on top of the old town part you have a great
view over the fertile valley up to the Monchique Mountains or down the river
valley until the Amoreira beach with it's sand dunes.
There are actually three extraordinary beaches within a range of a
10-minute-drive on good roads.
